Our Mission

 Serving the greater Central Savannah River Area, the  CSRA Humane Society, Inc. (CSRAHS) finds loving,  permanent homes for pets whose guardians can no
 longer care for them. We sponsor a spay/neuter program  for area pet guardians and also serve as a humane  education resource for our community on responsible  people-pet relationships and the humane treatment of all  animals.

Our Organization

 The IRS designates CSRAHS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit,  privately-funded, volunteer organization. We receive no  local, state or federal tax dollars nor any money from
 the large national humane groups. Our limited admission
 "no-kill" Pet Center requires nearly $300,000 a year to  operate. We care for over 250 cats and dogs 365 days a  year. We rely solely on community support by way of  donations, annual memberships & fundraising events.
 We simply can't do it without your support! Can the  animals count on you this year?

Animal Health & Welfare

 Our organization and facility is licensed by the Georgia  Dept. of Agriculture under license number A161 and is  inspected annually for the health and welfare of the  animals that are in our care.
