Our Pet Adoption and Humane Education Center is located in the old Augusta city jail, behind Lake Olmstead Stadium, home of the Augusta GreenJackets, at 425 Wood Street.

Our Pet Center is a limited admission no-kill shelter where the dogs have blankets and beds and spend lots of time enjoying the sunshine outside in secure play yards.

The cats are in open rooms upstairs with kitty jungle gyms, bird videos and living room furniture.
